Welcome to OrlandoMap.info. Orlando Map is A Blog That Contains Usefull Information About Orlando Map, Orlando Villas, Orlando Hotels, Orlando Travels, Orlando Vacation and much more. Enjoy.
I am sort of in the same boat as you as I am considering renting a villa in Orlando too, just thought I’d share my research with you.
This is what I have been using: http://www.orlandovillas.com/Map.aspx
It lists all of the villa resorts in the area and the site also has private bookings for villas in the area. I was considering staying in either Windsor Hills, Emerald Island (not on OrlandoVillas site check out the link in sources), Formosa Gardens or Indian Wells which are the closest to the attractions. If you want package deals rather than booking the hotel, flights and rental car seperately, check out the following link for 2 good deals from First Choice: http://www.firstchoice.co.uk
There are 2 villas there, one in Windsor Hills and one in Emerald Island. If thats too expensive, try booking seperately and you may get a better deal.
Hope you have a great time
Spend time studying what area is best for you – have you young kids – how close to Disney do you want – how close to shops and restaurants – some villas are a 20-30 min drive to the parks and restaurants and after a couple of days driving up and down the same roads you get sick of it. For the second time we have booked a villa, and the location is Poincicana Blvd, it is close everything – couple Min’s drive shops 15 Min’s Disney. Just spend time looking. location location location
I am going in October. You can Google “Villas to rent in Orlanda” and get a ton of hits. The website I used was http://www.vrbo.com. We got a 7 bedroom for 7 nights for under $2000.
There are a few web sites that you can view. Each web site that I am listing we have rented villas from.bighousebythemouse.the other site is paradisepalms.com and the last one is called orlandodreamvacation.net all of the villas are nice and they all have pools.
http://www.bevs-villa.com. we’re paying £720 for 2 weeks in June. my brother went last year and recommended it. 15 mins from Disney, 30 mins from Orlando. we’ve booked with airtours for fly-drive and paid £1500 for 2 adults 2 children. hope this helps you.
Sheraton Vistana Resorts. It’s a beautiful property, many pool, like a mile from Disney, it’s great. There are 2 bedrooms. One has 2 queen beds, the other a California King/w hot tub in room. A full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 baths, a full dining room & living, and private balcony. I stayed here before. It was great!!!
try travel city direct as they are leading florida specialists who you can book everything with ie, flights, transfers, car hire, villas or even hotels and they CANNOT be beaten on price. I have not used their villas but my best friend (who is very fussy, i might add) has been going to their villas, ALL which have private pools and up to twelve bedrooms, for around 7 years now. She always hires a villa for two weeks in the Kissimee area of Florida, although they have many more areas to choose from.
Check out their site or give them a ring (web addy below). For extra peace of mind – the presenters off GMTV morning show travelled and booked their hotel through travel city direct so it cannot be that bad if ITV use them.
I hope i have helped.
