I’m seeking for a road house which is on the beach which is in an area with lots to do. Something which is not your simple ‘Florida decor.’ (peach, wicker furniture, etc..) I hold the closest is anywhere from Daytona Beach to Melbourne. Anywhere in which vacinity. Thanks for any help!

Orlando is not on the beach — it’s inland!

It depends on the price range you’re looking at, because the Wyndham Oceanwalk on Daytona Beach is modern, as is The Shores Resort and Spa, but they are both over $135/nt. LaQuinta is slightly less and room decor is certainly contemporary with dark woods and tan linens, but I think you’re not getting as much for your money.
Daytona is not that close to Orlando. I drive by Daytona to get to Orlando. You’d be better going to Tampa/Clearwater than to Daytona, but even Tampa is not that close. If you want to do beach and Disney I would separate the two. Do a night or two on the beach, then change hotels to be in Orlando, because after a day at the parks driving all the way back to a beach hotel isn’t a great way to end the day. I highly recommend Clearwater Beach where you will find modern hotels and beautiful white sand. We’ve stayed there and loved it. You can also go to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Perhaps you will find more hotels you like if you search that coast.

Um, the reason you won’t find any hotels in Orlando ON the beach is because Orlando is about 60 or so miles inland from the nearest beach. There are hotels in Orlando that have MAN MADE beaches, but if you want the beach that’s on either the Gulf Coast, or the Atlantic Ocean, you’ve got to get out of Orlando.

Sorry – no beach in Orlando though some hotels have pools meant to look like a small beach. Orlando is not on the coast.

These three are all new and free of peach/wicker. Melbourne has such a nice beach too. Have fun!
